Is it possible to make a plan that benefits your people, the planet and your bottom line? You’re darn right.
Building your Green Team involves finding the right people and incentivizing this additional responsibility. First up, recruiting and listening. From formal Q&A sessions to printed materials and informational events, we intend to pique interest from all angles. We’ll find out who is interested in this type of work and put the right people in the right roles.
Integrating the triple bottom line, we work directly with employees and decision makers to craft both short-term and long-term plans for improved sustainability practices. Together, we strengthen the links between people, planet and profit.
Sustainability projects require a team—one that’s motivated for change. Our approach builds a team from within. Your people know your company better than outsiders ever will and they are key to these efforts. If your people don’t buy in, the gig is up. This is where we come in. We work with you to recruit your Green Team and motivate them.
We’re in an exciting era when people are not only aware of their impact on the planet, but they also want to do something about it. So what keeps us from sticking to eco-friendly practices? We find that in this big world, there’s so much that could be done that it’s overwhelming to know where to start. That’s where we can help. After a thorough company assessment, we recruit and coach a Green Team to help implement sustainable practices. Don’t worry, we aren’t here to make you sit on the floor and use bamboo staples. You know your company best, and we’ll partner with you to implement smart, doable practices that make sense. Maybe that is in the form of a carpooling program, or switching out the candy vending machine with locally sourced snacks. Maybe it means partnerships with schools or non-profits. Maybe it means looking at suppliers located in your region. We won’t know until we dive in.
You want to be sustainable and meet your bottom line. We want that too (and we see the clear connection between the two). At Summit, we think incorporating sustainable practices shouldn’t be a this-or-that decision. In fact, meeting your bottom line will become much easier with some changes that benefit the planet and the people who make your operations possible. Let us be the bridge between profitability and sustainability.
Let’s Manage Impacts & Create Opportunities
